An die Mitglieder der Snehalaya Anamprem Familie!!

Es ist mir eine große Freude, Sie und alle Interessierten zu einem Screening von"Er nannte mich Malala 'einzuladen. Es ist ein Dokumentarfilm über ein junges Mädchen, welches von den Taliban schwer angeschossen wurde und überlebte. Sie setzt jetzt sich für die Rechte von Frauen und Mädchen auf Bildung und erhielt kürzlich den Friedensnobelpreis.
Ich möchte auch Sie,in Snehalaya zur "Gala4Mala" Veranstaltung einladen, um das Bewusstsein für die Rechte von Mädchen Bildung und die Bedeutung der Gleichstellung der Geschlechter zu erhöhen.
Die Gala wird in Gegenwart von Bildungsminister Herr Vinod Tawade, Vizekanzler Herr Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, Mr. Mathew, der Gründer von Magic Bus Ngo, Sozialaktivist und Snehalaya Gründers Dr. Girish Kulkarni und verschiedene Motivationstrainer sein.
Ich würde mich freuen, wenn Sie und Ihre Familie an diese wichtige Veranstaltung, bei Convocation Halle Mumbai University, Fort, Mumbai 32 kommen könnten. Am 7. November um 17.00 bis 06.30 Uhr .

It gives me great pleasure to invite you and all interested to a screening of 'He named me Malala'. It is a documentary movie about a young girl who was shot by the Taliban and survived. She now campaigns for the rights of girls and women to be educated and recently won the Nobel Peace prize.

I would also like to invite you to Snehalaya's "Gala4Mala" An event to raise awareness of the rights for girls education and the importance of gender equality.
The Gala will be in the presence of Education Minister Mr. Vinod Tawade, Vice chancellor Mr. Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, Mr. Mathew who is Founder of Magic Bus Ngo , Social Activist And Snehalaya's founder Dr. Girish kulkarni and various motivational speakers.
I would be delighted if you and the your family can attend this important event, at Convocation Hall Mumbai University, Fort, Mumbai 32. On 7 th November at 5 pm to 6.30 pm .

150 children from Snehalaya will participate in this day when "Gala4Malala". In the morning the documentation of Malala is shown in the cinema and in the evening is a great event with preferred guest.

Rekha

Rekha wurde als Baby in einem verlassenen Container vor einem Bordell gefunden;Eine Frau kümmerte sich um sie, aber sie erzog Rekha mit viel Gewalt und und zwang sie zur Prostitution.Iim Alter von 12 Jahren entkam Rekha aus dem Bordell und ging nach Sholapur; dort arbeitete bei einer Familie Jahre lang als Haushälterin und hielt sie für ihre Familie. Im Alter von etwa 25 verliebte sie sich in einen Jungen, und sie hatte 5 Jahre eine geheime Beziehung ,aber er gab ihr nicht das Versprechen sie zu heiraten.Weil Rekha nicht frühzeitig zum Arzt ging,war sie schockiert,als dieser bei einer Untersuchung heraus fand das sie HIV Postiv war. Rekha war in einem Schockzustand und die Familie bat sie auch,das Haus zu verlassen. Ein Freund der Familie informierte Rekha über Snehalaya,und brachte sie in das Gemeinschaft Gesundheitszentrum. Dort erhielt sie angemessene medizinische Versorgung und nach ein paar Monaten war sie wieder gesund. Sie begann auch als Reinigungskraft in der Alliance Hall in Snehalaya zu arbeiten. Auf eine Frage,antwortete sie,das sie nie heiraten würde. Doch nach wenigen Monaten fiel sie in Liebe zu Premkumar Behra, auch einen Reiniger. Als das Snehalaya Team davon erfuhr,arrangierten sie eine Hochzeit für die beiden. Nun sind Rekha und Premkumart ein glücklich verheiratetes Paar; Sie helfen weiterhin, bereitendie Mahlzeit für 400 Kinder und Mitarbeiter jeden Tag vor im Snehalaya Rehab Centre.

As a baby, Rekha was found in an abandoned container by a brothel keeper; the woman took care of her, but used a lot of violence and forced her into prostitution at the age of 12. Rekha escaped from the brothel and went to Sholapur; there she worked as the housekeeper with a family for 18 years and considered them family. At the age of about 25 she fell in love with a boy and they had a secret relationship for 5 year but he did not keep the promise of marrying her. When Rekha wasn’t feeling well she saw the doctor and found out that she was HIV+. Rekha was in a state of shock and the family also asked her to leave the house. Then a friend of the family informed Rekha about Snehalaya and brought her to the Community Health Care Centre. There she received proper medical attention and after a few months regained her health. She even started working as the cleaner of Alliance Hall in Snehalaya. When asked, Rekha said she wouldn’t ever marry. Nevertheless, after a few months she fell for Premkumar Behra, also a cleaner. When Snehalaya’s team learned of this they arranged a wedding for them. Now, Rekha and Premkumar is a happily married couple; they help prepare a meal for 400 children and staff members every day at Snehalaya's Rehab Centre.

Besuch von Vikram Gokhale / Visit from Vikram Gokhale

 

Am 17.05.15 besuchte uns Vikram Gokhale, berühmten Schauspieler und Sozialarbeiter bei Snehalaya. Er gab Informationen über die Freisetzung von 3. Auflage des Buches "vergöttern Schicksale"


At 17.05.15 visited us Vikram Gokhale, famous actor and social worker at Snehalaya. He gave information about the release of 3rd edition of the book "idolize Fates"

 

Seilbahn / funicular

Am 12.05 fand eine Aktion in Snehalaya statt, wo ein Spezialteam, über das Schulgelände der English Medium School ein Seil spante. Die Kinder hatten alle sehr viel spass dabei, wie man auf den Bildern sehen kann.

At 12.05 an action took place in Snehalaya where a special team, joists a rope over the campus of the English Medium School. The children all had a lot of fun, as you can see in the pictures.

Hochzeit in Snehalaya am 5.5.15 / Wedding in Snehalaya on 5.5.15

Am 5.5.15 haben  3 Paare in Snehalaya geheiratet.
Unter den 3 Paaren war auch unsere Mitarbeiter Anil Gawade. Wie schon berichtet in dem Bericht vom 20.04 15, wollten die Brautpaare keine Geschenke haben, sondern es sollte für verschiedene Projekte in Snehalaya gespendet werden. Dabei kamen für 5 verschiedene Projekte eine Summe von 1.25 lacs zusammen. Girish Kulkarni bedankte sich sehr dafür auf seiner Facebookseite.

On 5.5.15 3 Wedding couples  married in Snehalaya.

Under the 3 Wedding couples was our co-worker Anil Gawade. As already reported in the report of 20.04.15, wanted the Wedding couples have no gifts, but it should be contribute to various projects in Snehalaya. Here, a total of 1.25  lacs came for 5 different projects together. Girish Kulkarni thanked all for it on his Facebook page.

Liebe Mitglieder, Grüße von der Snehalaya Familie !!!

Wir sind glücklich, Ihnen unsere aktuellen Snehalaya Newsletter zu präsentieren. Wir sind mit ihnen verbunden die wichtigsten Tätigkeiten von Snehalaya Jan-März 2015 in diesen Newsletter mitzuteilen.
Snehalaya ist derzeit in den Prozess der Ausarbeitung des Haushaltsplans für das kommende Geschäftsjahr sowie die Schließung der Bücher von Konten für das laufende Geschäftsjahr 2014-15. Wir gehen davon aus, dass in diesem Jahr,unsere Gesamtbetriebshaushalt mehr oder weniger INR 5,5 Cr sein wird. Es ist eine große Aufgabe, diesen Betrag in dem kommenden Jahr zu sammeln, aber wir hoffen, dass alle uns helfen werden, die humanitäre Arbeit in Snehalaya fortsetzen.
Wir werden durch Annäherung an die großzügigen Spender (Einzelperson, Unternehmen, Institutionen etc.), aber auch unsere eigenen Wege finden um diese Mittel zu sammeln und dafür sorgen, dass wir nachhaltige Projekte generieren. Wir haben auch beschlossen, den Aufbau eines Stammkapitals von Rs. 5 Cr. im kommenden Jahr zuerreichen. Der Bau für das Snehankur Adoption Center und Snehdeep Klinik für HIV-positiven Patienten ist auch ein großes Ziel, es in diesem Jahr zu erreichen.
Es werden erhebliche Veränderungen der Arbeitsmethoden mit den bestehenden Begünstigten eines jeden Projekts auf Basis der Wirkungsanalyse sein. Jedes Projektteam wird mit dem kommenden speziellen, zielorientierten Arbeitsplan für das kommende Geschäftsjahr realisiert werden. Dies wird sicherlich den Prozess des sozialen Wandels unter den Begünstigten rüsten.
Wir hoffen, dass Sie wie gewohnt alle Ihre wertvolle Unterstützung, um die Bewegung des sozialen Wandels stärken und sich mit Snehalaya erweitern.

Highlights

13 Studenten von Großbritannien zu Besuch in Snehalaya:

Snehalaya ist jetzt das Zentrum für Inspiration und gesellschaftlicher Mittelpunkt für die Menschen, die sich für soziale Dienste und Philanthropie einsetzen. Snehalaya hat sehr enge Beziehungen mit der Leeds Metropolitan University in Großbritannien, in den letzten 7 Jahren aufgebaut. Zwischen 10 und 20 Schüler mit verschiedenen Expertise haben Snehalaya als Freiwillige für 2-5 Wochen besucht. In diesem Jahr kamen 13 Studenten am 24. März. Sie haben sich in kleine Gruppen aufgeteilt und übernahmen die Verantwortung der verschiedenen Projekte im Snehalaya. Sie haben den Großteil ihrer Zeit in Snehalaya English Medium School und Reha-Zentrum mit unseren Kindern verbracht. Sie haben die Kinder in Kunst, Handwerk, Englisch, Mathematik, Naturwissenschaften, Fotografie, Tanz und Musik unterrichtet. Die Leiter der jeweiligen Projekte haben Sie in ihrer ehrenamtlichen Arbeit zu unterstützt und Sie haben auch die historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten und anderen Institutionen in Ahmednagar besucht.

Dear well-wishers,  Greetings from Snehalaya Family !!!  

We are indeed happy to produce for you our latest Snehalaya newsletter.  We are communicating to you the important activities carried out by Snehalaya from January through until March 2015 in brief through this newsletter.  
Snehalaya is currently in the process of preparing the budget for next financial year as well as closing the books of accounts for the current financial year 2014-15.  We assume that this year our total operational budget will be more or less INR 5.5 Cr.  It is a big task to collect this amount in the up-coming year but we hope that you all will help us to continue the humanitarian work that Snehalaya is doing.   
We are finding our own ways to gather the funds through reaching out to generous donors (individual, corporate, institutional etc.), as well as making sure that we generate sustainable projects and increase our savings.  We have also decided to build up a corpus fund reaching Rs. 5 Cr. in the coming year.  Construction for Snehankur Adoption Center and Snehdeep Hospital for HIV positive patients is also a big target to achieve this year. 
There will be significant changes in the methods of work with the existing beneficiaries of every project based on impact analysis.  Every project team will come up with the specific, target oriented activity plan to be implemented in the coming financial year.  This will surely gear up the process of social change among the beneficiaries.  
We hope that as usual you all will extend your valuable support to strengthen the movement of social change and unite with Snehalaya.

Highlights:   
• 13 students from the U.K. Volunteer with Snehalaya: 
         
Snehalaya has now become the center for inspiration and a social hub for the people who are interested in social service and philanthropy. Snehalaya has had very close relations with Leeds Metropotan University, U.K. over the last 7 years. Between 10 and 20 students with various expertise have visited Snehalaya as volunteers for 2 to 5 weeks every year.  This year, 13 students arrived on 24th March. They have split into small groups and shouldered the responsibilities of various projects within Snehalaya.  They will spend the majority of their time in Snehalaya’s English Medium School and Rehab Center with our children.  They will teach them art, crafts, English, mathematics, science, photography, dance and music. The managers of the respective projects will assist them in their voluntary work.  The volunteers will also visit the historical monuments and other institutions of Ahmednagar.
